Since 2023, Lotus’s set up Dana Kongsi Ceria, a fund that gives back to the community through various initiatives. This year, Lotus’s is teaming up with Procter & Gamble Malaysia (P&G) to transform the lives of children in need of critical care and support.
Throughout the anniversary period, Lotus’s will contribute 0.5% of sales from its house brand products (excluding fresh categories) to the National Cancer Council Malaysia (MAKNA). These contributions support children with cancer throughout their entire treatment cycle.
Concurrently, P&G will contribute 0.5% of sales from participating P&G products to Gabungan Anak-Anak Palsi Serebrum (GAPS) and Tender Touch Paediatric Rehab. GAPS is a school for cerebral palsy therapy, while Tender Touch is able to offer 1,100 free therapy sessions to children with developmental delays and complex disabilities, of which 80% is funded by Dana Kongsi Ceria.
In other words, your shampoo, detergent, or instant noodles will end up helping fund therapy and treatment programs for kids who need them. And that’s really good karma from a regular grocery run.
