Fiorentina have accused Inter Milan of spreading "fake news" after defeat on Saturday.
The Viola lost 4-3 before rumours broke of Viola owner Rocco Commisso tried to smash down the locker room door at the Stadio Franchi.
Fiorentina have officially denied the reports with a statement:
“President Commisso simply complimented his players and the coach for the great performance," it read.
Therefore, La Viola's owner “expects an official apology from Inter, their president Steven Zhang and whoever has spread this fake news, restoring the truth as soon as possible."
