Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano admitted frustration after their 2-2 draw at Europa Conference League opponents Genk.

Luca Ranieri struck twicec, but Genk fought back to earn a point.

Italiano later said: Before the equaliser, we had two big chances to kill off the game and we could've done better.

It is not easy to play here, as Genk play at a high tempo and don't allow you to get a rhythm going. We could've sealed a victory, then we risked defeat. It was a good performance, we are content with the point."

On an injury for Nico Gonzalez, Italiano added: I honestly don't know exactly what happened, but he felt this horrible pain in his side and asked to be substituted.

"Everyone knows how important Nico is for us, so we hope it is nothing serious,"
