Fiorentina GM Joe Barone has welcomed new signing Arthur Melo.
The Brazil midfielder arrives on a season-long loan from Juventus.
Barone said: "We are super happy to bring a player of this level to Fiorentina and I especially thank the work done by (Daniele) Prad and (Nicolas) Burdisso in the last few days, they have spent so many hours and made trips.
"Arthur is a natural point guard, hearing an international player say certain things gives us so much pride.
"Yesterday I called the president (Rocco Commisso) and passed Arthur on to him, he welcomed him. The president will then be here at the start of the championship."
