Fiorentina striker Christian Kouame was left happy after their win at Viktora Plzen.
The Viola are into the Europa Conference League semifinals after an extra-time 2-0 win in Plzen.
Kouame told Sky Italia: "We had to be patient, they are a closed team, the goal would be scored sooner or later.
"In the first half we did well to crush them in their area, then the goal came at the end.
"Today Nico scored, he hadn't scored in a long time.
