KUALA LUMPUR – A section of Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s house caught fire today and is believed to have caused the death of a pet cat, according to the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department.
In a brief incident report shared with the media, the department said it responded to an emergency call reporting a fire at Zahid’s two-story bungalow residence in Country Heights at 1.30pm today.
According to the report, the fire broke out in a 20x20 sq ft room used as a cat enclosure.
No one was harmed in the incident, while the Fire Department has yet to confirm the number of cats that perished. – The Vibes, April 22, 2023
