SEMPORNA: A fire broke out at a row of shop lots housing a home improvement outlet in Jalan Seri Melor Tinagayan here on Sunday evening.
The alarm was raised at 5.53pm, and fire engines from the Semporna Fire and Rescue Station arrived within minutes to find the two-storey building well alight.
The blaze destroyed about 90 per cent of the hardware store and also spread to a dental clinic on the upper floor, which was damaged by around 50 per cent.
