TAWAU: Fire destroyed 12 houses at Kg Jawa today here but no human casualties were reported.
Twenty firemen were rushed to the scene of the fire, covering about one hectare of the village area, upon receiving an alert at 12.38pm.
Members of the public including children still in school uniform helped save the residents' things.
