
NABAWAN: A block of semi-permanent buildings, including the SIB church, a hall, and accommodation quarters in Kampung Enam Nabawan, here, was 80 per cent destroyed by fire.
According to a spokesperson from the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Sabah, the fire occurred at around 9.30 am on Monday.
The Nabawan Fire Station received a call at 9.50am, and the fire engine arrived at the scene at 9.54am.
The fire was controlled by 10.50am, and the operation ended at 12.28pm.
