KOTA BELUD: Two houses were destroyed in a fire at Kampung Labuan here early Sunday morning.
The Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call at 12.03am and a team from Kota Belud station arrived at the scene at 12.11am, about six kilometres away.
The fire involved two non-permanent and semi-permanent houses measuring 60x40 feet each, which were completely razed.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control at 1.53am and fully extinguished it at 4.23am using water from a hydrant located about six kilometres away, with no casualties reported.
