
Firefighters’ point-of-view footage shows crews rushing to put out fires that consumed houses in Spokane, Washington, on Saturday (1 August).
Around 60,000 people have been ordered to evacuate as wildfires threaten the city.
Fires in the region have destroyed 600 buildings, including homes and businesses, local officials said.
The Spokane Area Fire, which contains three separate blazes, had burned 5,390 acres (2,180 hectares) by Sunday, according to a federal incident management team.
Bodycam footage taken by Spokane County firefighters showed crews moving quickly between properties to put out flames.
