KOTA KINABALU: A 61-year-old woman was rescued after her leg became trapped in a roadside drain cover along Jalan Kionsom, Inanam, on Sunday night.
Eight firefighters from the Lintas Fire and Rescue Station arrived at 8.32pm, seven minutes after receiving the emergency call, and used a hydraulic power unit to free her.
She was given initial treatment by the EMRS unit before being taken to hospital for further care.
