Firms urged to support BTC’s retort food initiative

Kota Kinabalu: The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Costs of Living (KPDN) encourages companies to support the retort food bank initiative run in Sabah by BTC Maju Holding Sdn Bhd (BTC) in Sabah.

Introduced last year, the nationwide retort food project allocated a single machine per state for several fields including hospitality, catering and agricultural.

KPDN Distribution Trade and Business Sector Senior Director Dato’ Rohaizi Bahari said retort foods benefit the underprivileged especially natural disaster victims.
