Kota Kinabalu: Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) Sabah branch head Remy Gunsalam hopes other shopping malls will follow the example of Wisma Merdeka by stationing Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) at key locations throughout the mall.

It is the first mall in Sabah to have such safety measures.

AdvertisementAccording to the mall’s management manager, Christopher Shaw, prioritising patron safety has always been a top concern.

“It has been our priority to ensure the safety of our patrons while they shop here. With the availability of AEDs, they can now shop with peace of mind, knowing this emergency safety measure is in place,” he said.
