- The arrests were made Monday evening at the port in Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas, where the passengers were involved in a fight with other cruise ship passengers.
- A "violent struggle" later occurred at a police station when officers tried to search the five suspects following their initial arrest.
- During the altercation at the station, one woman is accused of throwing a chair through a glass door, shattering it, and a man then allegedly kicked out the remaining glass in an attempt to escape.
- Four police officers were injured, with one officer hospitalized for a serious injury to their left shoulder. The five suspects currently remain in custody as the investigation continues.
