KUNAK: Five people were injured in a three-vehicle crash involving a Toyota Hilux, a Proton Saga, and a three-tonne lorry along Jalan Kunak-Tawau on Saturday afternoon.
One of the victims, a lorry driver, was trapped inside his vehicle and rescued by firefighters using hydraulic equipment before being safely removed.
Another victim from the Hilux was thrown out of the vehicle and given initial treatment at the scene, while three passengers from the Proton Saga sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for further care.
