SIPITANG: Deputy Head of the Sabah Islamic Council (MUIS) Malai Ali Malai Ahmad presented zakat (cash) to five recipients to ease their hardships.
The zakat was especially for single parents and the impoverished identified as recipients of zakat by Muis, he said presenting a mock cheque to five zakat recipients in the district on Saturday.
“Hopefully, the recipients could benefit from it use the money to buy the necessity for their family.
