Five supermarket foods hit by the biggest price rises

  • Supermarket inflation in the UK rose for the first time in over a year in June, increasing from 2.4 per cent in May to 2.6 per cent, according to consumer group Which?.
  • Fish saw the sharpest price increase, rising by 11.1 per cent over the year, followed by energy drinks, chocolate, water, and fresh fruit.
