NILAI – A man was killed and four others injured in an accident involving five vehicles, including two trailer lorries at KM280 of the North-South Expressway heading south, near here, this morning.
The Negri Sembilan Fire and Rescue Department in a statement said they received a distress call at 11.43am about the accident involving the two trailer lorries, two cars and a motorcycle.
“Our personnel were immediately dispatched to the scene. A total of 10 victims were involved in the mishap,” read the statement.
The deceased was a 43-year-old man who was the driver of one of the trailer lorries.

“Two men and two women were injured, while five others, including two foreign nationals, escaped unhurt.
“The victim’s body was surrendered to the police for further action, while the injured were sent to the hospital.”
Videos of the incident which had since gone viral on social media showed one lane was almost completely blocked by one lorry and two cars involved in the accident.
It is believed that the incident occurred when one of the trailer lorry driver lost control, causing it to plough through the guardrails and crash into vehicles in the southbound lanes. – The Vibes, November 11, 2022
