Former AC Milan midfielder Mathieu Flamini supports the appointment of Paulo Fonseca.
The Lille coach is being linked with the vacant job at Milan.
Flamini told Sky Italia: It was not a terrible season for Milan, but we all hope they can win the Scudetto.
They are improving and we hope for next season."
On Fonseca, he added: He is a quality coach.
"The fans want to win, he is someone who likes beautiful football, so he could be the right coach for Milan."
