One netizen commented that just an hour of heavy rain was enough to cause flooding, expressing concern about what would happen if it rained continuously throughout the day.

The Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) reportedly received an emergency call regarding the flash floods in Kampung Melayu Subang at 8.30pm, according to Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, Assistant Director of the Operations Division.

He confirmed that fire department personnel will continue conducting regular monitoring at affected locations to ensure residents’ safety remains a priority.
