SANDAKAN: Heavy rains since Thursday night have caused flash floods in several villages around Sandakan and Beluran, including Kampung Garinono, Kampung Pertanian, Kampung Memanjang, and Kampung Jaya Bakti.
Evacuation of residents to a temporary shelter at SK Pertanian is underway, coordinated by the Malaysian Civil Defence Force.
