Flasher who exposed himself to woman in MRT train arrested

KUALA LUMPUR: The flasher who exposed himself to a woman inside an MRT train has been arrested.

According to Sentul police child Asst Comm Ahmad Sukarno Mohd Zahari, the incident occurred on Dec 5 as the train was moving from Kepong Baru station to the Metro Prima station.

He said that a police report was lodged at 9.32pm by a 22-year-old woman following the incident where a local man that was using the MRT service had shown his private parts to the woman in the said train.

He stated that the man was arrested on Dec 12 at 11.40pm, and was identified to be a 31-year-old man in Bandar Sungai Long, Kajang.

“The suspect confessed to the act and he was found that he has no previous criminal record and will be remanded to assist investigations.

“As of now no other reports were made against him from other passengers and witnesses,” he said.
