  • The flight crew transmitted a Squawk 7700 code, indicating a general emergency, which alerted air traffic control to prepare for the landing in Brussels.
  • The Airbus A320 landed safely in Brussels, and passengers were accommodated overnight in hotels while the aircraft underwent inspection.
  • Specialists found no technical faults with the plane, which subsequently returned to Zurich and resumed service on 8 April.
