RB Leipzig have reached a deal for Chelsea striker Timo Werner.
Sky Deutschland says Werner is one step away from returning to Leipzig.
The centre-forward could fly to Germany this week. Negotiations have been underway for some time and an agreement with Chelsea for the transfer was reached this morning.
The 26 year old Werner was bought by Chelsea for 53 million euros but his contribution has been below expectations: only 23 goals in 89 games in all competitions.
Chelsea will cover part of Werner's wages, with the striker expected to join RBL on-loan for the season.
