  • An Air Canada Express plane collided with a fire truck after landing at New York’s LaGuardia Airport on Sunday night, killing the pilot and co-pilot.
  • The CRJ-900 aircraft, arriving from Montreal with nearly 80 passengers, struck the vehicle at approximately 24mph.
  • At least two others were injured during the collision, including two Port Authority police officers.
  • Footage on social media showed significant damage to the nose of the aircraft following the collision.
  • All flights at LaGuardia airport were halted until 2 PM EST on Monday due to the emergency.
