TELUPID: Four roads and nine villages here were affected by flash floods due to days of torrential rain.
The affected areas were Kampung Gana Jati, Kampung Liningkung, Kampung Bauto, Kampung Ansuan, Kampung Baba, Kampung Berayung, Kampung Taviu, Kampung Gambaron dan Kampung Wonod.
Meanwhile, the affected roads were Kampung Ansuan, Kampung Baba, Kampung Taviu and Kampung Wonod.
Civil Defence Force personnel were mobilised to the affected areas as early as 6am, Monday, to monitor the disconnected roads of Kampung Taviu, Kampung Gambaron and Kampung Wonod due to the rising water level.
Rescuers are now evacuating stranded villagers from 20 houses in Kampung Ansuan and 30 houses in Kampung Baba.
