PETALING JAYA: Flash floods have been reported along the Federal Highway heading towards Klang, near the Heineken factory, prompting motorists to exercise caution and prepare for possible traffic congestion.

A Threads user, @its.yxyxsrhm_, shared an update on the rising water levels, warning road users travelling from Kuala Lumpur towards Klang to expect potentially heavy traffic.

The incident could cause delays for commuters using the affected stretch, particularly during the evening rush hour.

Motorists are advised to drive carefully, avoid flooded sections of the highway and consider alternative routes where possible.

Road users are also encouraged to check traffic updates before setting off and allow extra time for their journeys.
