A Florida driver who crashed through a locked perimeter gate at an airport told police officers at the scene he did not remember what had happened.

The man, named by police as Bryan J. Parker, 58, of Holly Hill, drove a blue Ford Mustang through the Daytona Beach International Airport perimeter fence on Wednesday (25 March).

Body-worn video shows an officer asking what happened, before Parker replies: "I don't remember.”

"I was at my house, I went to an AA [Alcoholics Anonymous] meeting, next thing I know I'm doing cocaine, drinking, and smoking pot."

Parker was arrested and faces state charges of aircraft piracy (attempted), burglary of a conveyance, felony trespass (airport), exposure of sexual organ, criminal mischief, DUI property damage, and refusal to submit to testing.
