The midfielder was wanted by the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal, but Fluminense refused to sell.
The club are competing in the Copa Libertadores in South America and want a strong squad.
The final of the competition is on November 4th, while the Brazilian Serie A campaign wraps up soon afterwards.
When these competitions have come to an end, Liverpool will go in to negotiate with Fluminense about Trindade.
