KOTA KINABALU: Gagasan Rakyat Darau chief Datuk Mohamed Razali Razi reminded party machinery that election strength lies in focus, discipline, and strategy — not mere activity or popularity.
Speaking at the Gagasan Rakyat Darau Election Machinery Strengthening Course ahead of the 17th Sabah state election (PRN-17), Razali urged members to prioritize real votes from each polling district.
“We’re seen as the most active party, but don’t get carried away by praise. What matters is the ballot marked ‘X’ for GRS,” he said.
Razali, who is also the party’s secretary-general, called for systematic groundwork and close engagement with all 33,000 voters in Darau.
He urged unity, discipline, and obedience to divisional election directors to ensure victory.
“Don’t get influenced by TikTok or Facebook. What counts are those who go to the ground, listen, and solve people’s problems,” he added.
He expressed confidence that Darau would prevail with sincerity, unity, and divine blessing.
