Kota Kinabalu: Merotai Assemblyman Sarifuddin Hata said more funding should be channelled to the State Agriculture and Fisheries Ministry in order to guarantee food security in the State.
While pointing out that funding is required for infrastructure development, he suggested that the State Government concentrate more on urgent issues like guaranteeing food security.
He said this during the debate on the First Supplementary Supply Bill (2022) which was tabled on Monday by Finance Minister II Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun.
