
TAWAU: Police arrested a foreign fisherman and seized over three kilogrammes of syabu worth approximately RM105,000 in Indrasabah on Friday (June 20).
The 30-year-old suspect, who tested positive for methamphetamine and amphetamine, is believed to have acted as a drug transporter attempting to smuggle the narcotics abroad.
District police chief ACP Jasmin Hussin said the arrest was made around 3.30pm near the entrance to Indrasabah Fishing Paradise.

Jasmin disclosed the details during a press conference at the Tawau District Police Headquarters on Wednesday.
