There's an issue in hospitals that the general public might not be aware of, but it's crucial for all Malaysians who pay taxes to take notice. The problem involves foreign patients who refuse to pay their medical bills, leaving the burden on Malaysian taxpayers.

Despite reporting to their respective embassies, these embassies often fail to take responsibility for their citizens' unpaid bills. As a result, these patients refuse to leave the hospital, and the costs of their food, medical bills, and nursing care end up being covered by Malaysian taxpayers.

This isn't an isolated incident; numerous cases of this nature exist, with some unpaid bills amounting to tens of thousands of ringgit. The burden falls on Malaysian taxpayers, and it's disheartening to see this situation unfold repeatedly.

Additionally, some UNCHR cardholders enjoy a 50% discount on medical bills, but they still choose not to pay, causing financial strain on the healthcare system.

Some also said, "When individuals raise this issue, they are often labeled as xenophobic and face attacks from human rights activists. However, it's essential to address this matter without fear or bias. What we truly need is better enforcement and accountabil city from foreign embassies to ensure that their citizens take responsibility for their medical expenses. It's high time we address this issue and find a fair solution for all parties involved."
