SHAH ALAM, Aug 16 - A group of foreigners were involved in a fight at a restaurant here last night, resulting in minor injuries to one man and damage to the premises.
Ampang Jaya police chief Khairul Anuar Khalid said the brawl took place at about 11pm at a restaurant along Jalan Memanda 7/1 off Jalan Ampang.
“The altercation involved several foreign men.
“A man suffered minor injuries to his body, while restaurant property was also damaged,” he said in a statement today.
He added that police found a video of the incident circulating on Threads today.
Khairul said police are investigating the case under Sections 148, 323 and 427 of the Penal Code for rioting while armed, voluntarily causing hurt, and committing mischief resulting in damage.
