6 Bangladeshi nationals dressed in corporate attire while attempting to enter Malaysia, supposedly to attend an important event, ultimately failed to fool the authorities, as they were then refused entry into the country yesterday (26 October).
According to a report by Berita Harian, the Bukit Kayu Hitam Border Control and Protection Agency (AKPS) Commander, Senior Assistant Commissioner Mohd Nasaruddin M Nasir, shared that the group consisted of 4 men and 2 women, aged in their 30s to 50s.

The 4 men and 1 of the women were dressed in full black suits, while the other woman donned a saree.
Their entry into Malaysia at the Bukit Kayu Hitam Immigration, Customs, Quarantine and Security Complex (ICQS) in Kedah was rejected due to them not meeting the entry requirements, and they were suspected of not being genuine tourists.
“They were not allowed to enter by land and were instructed to return to their country of origin via the same entry route,”
“AKPS is always committed to ensuring that the country’s entry points are under the best control and are not misused by any party for illegal purposes,” Senior Assistant Commissioner Mohd Nasaruddin M Nasir said.
