Nottingham Forest are ready to close a swap deal for Remo Frueler.
The wing-back is a target for Bologna, with a round of talks scheduled for Monday.
The Bolognese are aiming for a loan with the right to buy, a formula that Forest are unhappy with. Instead, Nico Dominguez, the midfielder who is also admired by AC Milan could be included in the operation.
Forest chiefs have been keen to bring Dominguez to England this summer.
