Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper expects an even clash today against Brentford.

Cooper admits he'd like more points on the board at this stage in the season.

He explained, We're on a similar amount of points and we know how hard it is to pick up points at this level.

As always against Brentford, it will be a very challenging game and they test you in a number of ways.

That's something we have to be ready for, but at the same time, look forward to putting our stamp on the game, especially at home."

A lot of players have been at Brentford for a while now and they have a real connection as a team, so we're aware of who they are and respect their strengths.

We're looking forward to the game and really want to commit to it."

He continued: We're only looking forward.

There's no doubt that we've had a group of games that have presented us with real challenges, but at the same time the home games have also been tough games and ones we've had to work hard to get points from.

We take every game as it comes and try and get what we can out of it. Out of the games we've played so far, regardless of what the perception was of the games, we've taken positives from them as well as learnings from them."
