Nottingham Forest are set to pass on extending Jesse Lingard's contract.
The midfielder joined Forest last summer on a 12-month deal after coming off contract at Manchester United.
Football Insider says Forest manager Steve Cooper has decided against keeping Lingard.
As such, he will be cut loose from the City Ground at the end of the season.
A move to MLS is emerging as a new option for Lingard.
