Nottingham Forest boss Nuno was delighted with his players in defeat at Brentford.

The Forest camp felt Ivan Toney moved the ball to his advantage before scoring from a free-kick, while Neal Maupay appeared to use a hand in scoring the winner.

Nuno said: "It was a great game, for anyone to watch, for those in the stadium for sure. Both teams played well, both teams went to win, players from both teams fight in every moment and in every action. So it was a good game of football.

"It is tough to take, especially when you score first, then you concede and there are issues with ball displacement. But the boys reacted, we drew level and had a clear chance to go in front. We fought until the end.

"Three days ago we played extra time, 120 minutes with the same players, we are short of options. My job is to put all these things together and I can only say that I am proud. We lost the game but I am proud of the way we did it."
