Nottingham Forest attacker Morgan Gibbs-White says they were worthy winners at Newcastle United.
Chris Wood struck all three goals as Forest won 3-1 at St James' Park on Boxing Day.
Gibbs-White said: "It starts from the start of the week when we start building into the game. It's about building our own identity with how we want to play. We showed that today and credit the big man [Chris Wood]. He scored three brilliant goals today.
"We're coming together as a team in the way that we want to play and how the manager wants us to play. It's been a massive positive."
On working with Nuno at Wolves, he added: "I knew him before and I tried to help the boys in helping create the identity of the team."
