The race for VfL Wolfsburg striker Omar Marmoush is intensifying.

Kicker says Brentford have made an offer for Marmoush, with Nottingham Forest and Espanyol also keen.

Marmoush, an Egypt international, has less than a year to run on his contract.

The striker spent last season on-loan with VfB Stuttgart and VfL are hopeful of securing him to a new deal.

Wolfe manager Jörg Schmadtke emphasised: "We are clearly in contact with Omar's agent."
