Nottingham Forest forward Andre Ayew has suffered a freak injury during the international break.
The veteran Ghanaian was playing in their 1-0 win over Angola on Thursday.
He had no issues during the game, but then slipped on the floor and hurt his knee as he went to the dressing room.
The 33-year-old then did not play in another game against the same opposition, which they drew 1-1.
Forest will learn more about his fitness when he is back in England and checked over by doctors.
However, the club will be hoping he is fit soon, as they need him to ensure Premier League survival.
