Ex-Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Jordan Smith is set to sign for Stockport this summer.
The 28-year-old has been a free agent since his Forest contract expired and was not renewed.
Per The Sun, he has now agreed a deal with the League Two club to compete for a starting spot next season.
Smith had always desired a team where he would be a regular, as that was not an option at Forest.
The Premier League club are in the process of signing a new keeper as well.
Manchester United's Dean Henderson is likely to join Forest on a permanent deal.
