Newcastle United midfielder Jonjo Shelvey is wanted by Nottingham Forest.
The Telegraph says Forest are on the verge of signing Newcastle ace Shelvey.
The 30-year-old midfielder is keen to make the switch to the City Ground and has been given permission to speak to Forest, with Newcastle willing to let him leave before Tuesday's transfer deadline.
Shelvey is set to travel to Nottingham for a medical on Monday, before becoming Forest's 25th new signing since they won promotion back to the Premier League last summer.
