Anthony Elanga says leaving Manchester United for Nottingham Forest was the right decision.
Forest and Elanga face United this weekend.
In an interview with SVT Sport, Elanga said: "It was not easy to sit in the stands. The only thing a young player wants is to play football, but I tried to be strong mentally. Now I want to show who I am and hopefully I will do that this season.
"I think it was the right choice for me to leave. It was important for me to get more playing time.
"One hundred percent. I'm so hungry now. Every game, every training session, I just want to score more goals and more assists. When I have a setback, it just builds me up. I learn from my mistakes and will do better."
