The very last thing that your enemies want you to do is to forgive them. In fact, your foes thrive when you are enveloped by the vengeance and hatred that they have sown in you. So wake up and do not be shackled by the very lock that you have the key to. Remember that forgiveness is the key to your very own personal peace. When you forgive, you release the unnecessary burden and conjure freedom for yourself.

We all need to do the right thing when something wrong has been done, especially when the mistake is not yours to begin with. Why punish yourself for the wrongdoings of others? Josiah Bailey said it best, "It is the truth that those who forgive most shall be most forgiven." Know that one of the secrets of a long and beautiful life is to forgive each and every one every night before you hit the sack. Make sure that you purge the malicious intentions that others try to force into you. Let it go!

Of course, forgiveness does not take away the pain in your past, but it does brighten your future. When you forgive, you set yourself free. Don't you want to live life to the fullest? Don't you want to be free? If God is willing to forgive, then who are we to hold out?
