KOTA KINABALU: A Form Two student in Kinarut was injured after allegedly being kicked by a senior for returning late to the hostel dormitory.
The incident, which took place at about 11pm on Sept 7 Sept, led the victim’s mother to lodge a police report at Papar District Police Headquarters on Sept 9.
A second report was filed at City Police Headquarters today, according to the family’s lawyer, Nurshalilah Fauzan Mailin.
She said the boy was allegedly kicked in the stomach, slapped on the cheek and punched in the nose by a Form Four student, while another Form Three student ordered him to iron clothes that night.
Nurshalilah added that the mother acted on the advice of a teacher and voiced concern that attempts to settle the matter privately could allow bullying to persist without proper legal action.
