POLICE have arrested a fourth suspect in connection with the murder of a woman found dead, naked and with her hands bound, by the roadside near a tributary in Blue Water Estate, Seri Kembangan.

The latest suspect, a woman in her 30s and a former housemate of the victim at a residence in Taman Castlefield, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, was detained by the Criminal Investigation Division of the Serdang District Police Headquarters on Sunday. She is unemployed.

Serdang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Muhamad Farid Ahmad, said, “Altogether, we have detained four suspects, including three men arrested in a raid last Friday. They are former boyfriends and an adoptive brother of the victim, aged between 24 and 30 years.

“Police are continuing efforts to trace several other individuals believed to have information that can assist in completing the investigation.”

He added that eight witnesses have been interviewed so far, including neighbours of the victim and her close acquaintances.

“We are in the process of obtaining an extension of remand for the three male suspects, who were previously held for five days,” he said.

The 24-year-old victim, a sales assistant who worked at a supermarket in Ampang and a convenience store in Bukit Bintang, was discovered by a passerby at 3.45 pm on 29 October after a suspicious odour was noticed along Jalan Anggerik, Seri Kembangan.

The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code. Police have urged anyone with further information about the victim to contact their nearest police station or the Serdang District Police Headquarters at 03-8074 2222.- November 4, 2025
