Former Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has welcomed new signing Yann Sommer.
The Swiss goalkeeper signed for Inter yesterday from Bayern Munich.
Moratti said, "I don't know him well: I saw him play years ago and I remember he was good, so I think he stayed that way. Surely it's an excellent signing from that point of view, but I don't know more."
On the captain's armband being handed to Lautaro Martinez, he also said: "He's certainly a guy who has character.
"Argentinians have character and they care about the work they do, so I think Lautaro is proud to be Inter captain."
